About Dr. Gavaskar's Pathology Lab
Dr Gavaskar’s Pathology Laboratory was started by Dr Siddhartha N Gavaskar on 21st April 1997.
- Dr Siddhartha Gavaskar acquired his MD in Pathology degree from Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Karad in 1994.
After acquiring experience at Sir H N Hospital Churni road Mumbai , K B Bhabha Hospital Bandra West and at K J Somayya Medical College Vidyavihar he started his pathology laboratory keeping legacy of his parents – Dr N S Gavaskar and Dr Mrs Shamala N Gavaskar – both well-known Family Physicians at Goregaon East.
He also served as President of Goregaon Medical Association and was attached to Smt Meenatai Thackray Blood Bank ( managed by Prabodhan Goregaon ) as an Advisor.
He worked as a Committee Member of Association of Practicing Pathologists (APPI)
He was also honored by appointing him as Adhyaksha of Sanskar Bharti Goregaon East.
His special interests included Quality Control in Pathology laboratory and automation in pathology lab.
